About Me

Based in Washington D.C., I offer top shelf video production services.  I bring over ten years of experience working in the field, starting out in the NYC market and now here in DC.  I've been part of teams as large as NBC Sports' Olympic Broadcasts (I've worked all the games since Beijing), to productions as compact as promo videos for area non-profits.  In addition to an ear for good sound and an eye for good pictures, I bring a background in journalism that helps give me perspective when putting together visual stories.  I'm also a father of 2 tots, which keeps my multitasking skills sharp.

Sound Services

The responsibility of the location sound mixer is to record great sound on location - be it a busy street, a bustling office, in a locker room, or in an arena.  So in addition to technical proficiency and a great equipment, the job requires communication and diplomacy.  Or, sometimes, when you are trying to get a sound bite with Kobe Bryant, it requires stamina and a well-placed shoulder.  These are all tools in my kit.  More on audio work here.

Camera Work

Being challenged to make a great picture with the scene at hand is one of my favorite parts of the job.  Whether it's shooting a webcast with ENG cameras or being a fly-on-the-wall with prime lenses, I love to shoot.  More on my camera work and equipment here.
